Volunteers & Artists - Get in touch now for 2011

Join us and make next years Fringe bigger and better
After the roaring success that was the Norwich Fringe festival 2010 we are now starting to build the team for next year. We want to show how exceptional this amazing city and its inhabitants really are with an even more diverse, innovative and professional Fringe festival.

We are starting to meet regularly from September onwards so you will need to be able to donate a couple of evenings a month to the cause. Its all very relaxed though as many team members can tell you. Our first meeting of the year involved outlandish brainstorming, beer and lots of laughter, all in the wonderful surroundings of St Gregory's medieval walls.

Please email me with your area of interest, experience and contact details. Don't worry if you don't have any experience, we welcome applications from all backgrounds. The Fringe is passionate about developing new talent so get in touch.

Thanks to You All

Forever and ever
The Norwich Fringe team would like to send out a massive thanks to all the contributing artists, venues, organisers and audience. Your continuing support drives us all to work harder and truly represent our great city.

This year’s fringe was run on a shoe string and I would particularly like to thank those who contributed to that lovely little pot that kept us afloat...

- Marion Catlin & Ian Johnson
- Kristian Phillips
- The Writers Centre Norwich
- Access to Music
- Stuart Hobday

We love you dearly.

Our first meeting of the year has been arranged and is open to all. It will be a very relaxed start with an emphasis on meeting and exchanging ideas for the future. I will be asking you what area you are interested in and to nominate themselves for a Fringe job if you already have one in mind. There will be a list of roles available on the day.

Your Photos & Videos Wanted

Did you capture an amazing Fringe moment?
We are giving a massive shout out to all you lovely folk who came to a Fringe event in 2010 to send us your photos and films. We want to add them to our expanding online gallery to give a real flavour of the events. You will be appropriately accredited online so this may also be a great opportunity to get some exposure to your work.

Creative Writing Competition

Tell us what you thought of the Fringe to win a Willy Wonka style golden ticket for free access to ALL Fringe events in 2011.
What did you think of the Fringe?

Please send us your thoughts of the Fringe in 2010 for the chance to win an amazing Access All Areas ticket for 2011.

We are asking that you write no more than one A4 side of paper about your experiences. Those moments that made you laugh until you cried, that bit when it all went fantastically astray or who you saw that knocked your socks off. The amount of writing is the only restriction, apart from the go nuts!

We will be publishing the top ten entries on the website so it will be a great chance to show off your creative writing skills and share your unique experiences with the world. There is also a very srtong chance you will see it published in a book...

Closing date is 31st December 2010
